Recently a new pizza place opened up in our neighborhood. There are a few of them around the eastside, but this one is ours and I think it’s going to do really well. The line was out the door tonight.
It’s called MOD Pizza and it’s fantastic. (Like them on Facebook)
It’s located in the Sammamish Highlands (near Safeway). If you live in the area and haven’t been to MOD Pizza yet you owe it to yourself to give it a try. It’s great to have another local restaurant where kids can be kids and adults can hang out too.

Each pizza costs just $6.88 with a set menu of 10 items, but you can pick your own toppings too. It’s still $6.88. Pizzas just take a few minutes to make and they are delicious!
They have a great selection of drinks – including beer and wine for the older kids and my kids favorite are the milkshakes.

MOD Pizza in Sammamish has a special tie to the community. As the article in the Issaquah Reported noted here. It’s great to have locals building businesses in our community. We should thank them for this by patronizing their establishment.
If you live in Sammamish make sure you swing by the Sammamish Highlands (where Safeway is located). If you are in Issaquah or Redmond or are driving thru on your way to or from Soaring Eagle Park or Duthie Hill stop by and give it a try. You will not be disappointed.
