There are a lot of things that happened during the week of meetings with Microsoft and the International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP).
Here are Three Takeaways
I will be writing and speaking a lot more about the upcoming Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) in the coming weeks and months. But, here is a quick post about three things that everyone needs to know about the WPC.
1. The Team
Microsoft has an incredible team of talented and passionate people. They are committed to creating the perfect conference. A conference where partners connect with partners and where relationships are built and extended for the long term.
The WPC is the largest Partner-to-Partner technology
and business conference in the world. The IAMCP has been actively working with Microsoft partners for over 20 years. It is an all volunteer organization. I am the president of the Seattle chapter and active on both the US and International boards. I am proud to serve with my fellow volunteers.
Toronto is ready.
If you have never been … you are in for a treat.
The hotels, the convention center and the restaurants are ready. Speaking of restaurants …
3. The Food
I had several incredible meals. Some at very casual restaurants and some at more fancy places. But, the best part of Canada is their national dish.
Poutine (the picture at the top of the post is what I created)
Poutine (/puːˈtiːn/; Quebec French) is a Canadian dish, originating in the province of Quebec, made with french fries and cheese curds topped with a light brown gravy.
Bonus Point – The People
Ultimately it’s about the people. The people of Microsoft and the people of the IAMCP are ready to serve and support the people of the Microsoft Partner Community.
If you will be heading to Toronto for the Microsoft WPC in July watch this space and also the Microsoft Partner website and the IAMCP website.
