My Offer to You
One year ago I bought my first Gravel Grinder.
Sure, the name might be a goofy affectation for a road bike with dirt'ish tires. But, it's a name that I like and I'm sticking with it.
On March 22nd of 2020 I bought a Specialized Diverge.
I took it for a quick 8 mile ride that first day.
And, again the next day.
And, the next.
Who knew that a few days later the whole countrywould be shut down due to #COVID19.
I'm 5200 miles in now!
yes, I wear a mask when I ride.
But, ride I must.
I think I'm hooked.
As a point of reference ... I've ridden mountain bikes for 30+ years and BMX bikes before that. I would have NEVER guessed I would ride a gravel grinder 5000+ miles by now. But, here we are.
In the last 365 days I've almost 300 rides. I think I'm hooked.

This post is my actual ... ONE YEAR IN! I didn't ride a ton in January, but I've gotten in 53 rides since January 1st.
